Pamela Geddes' journey is as unique as her wines. A Scottish native, who started in the whisky industry, before venturing into winemaking in Australia, where she fell in love with sparkling reds. After moving to Barcelona, she established Lobban Wines; a tiny, yet mighty, winery we absolutely love. La Palmelita NV is such a cool wine. Made from 95% Shiraz and 5% Garnacha, it is a traditional method, red, sparkling wine. Pouring a deep ruby red, this unique sparkling wine from Catalunya offers lifted spicy aromas of blackberries, mulberries, and ripe figs on the nose, with underlying hints of wild thyme, musk, and cloves. On the palate, it's fruit-driven with great length and drinkability, showcasing dark brambly fruit and black pepper. Perfect for pairing with spicy food, dark chocolate, or mature cheese, this sparkling red is a treat for the taste buds.
